MAKING PAPER
……………blending Eastern – Western methods
I’ve been making paper for over 15 years now, adapting methods I learned to suit my studio space and my needs both for printmaking and for creating small paper sculptures. This is another watery, messy class, full of possibilities, full of fun, and you will have made some wonderful pieces of paper, small to medium sizes, by the end of class. We will work with both recycled materials and plant fibers (kozo, gampi and garden variety vegetation) and colors. No prior experience needed.
